It looks really out of place, and I don't know how to fix it, but there is now a space for you to subscribe by email or I THINK subscribe through google connect? :-p :-)
BTW, My Man and I had good sex yesterday and it reminded me that it's not that bad or hard if we're both into it. ;-)
You're right, the subscribe gadget does look odd up in the header. Go into Layout, then drag the gadget to a better place in your sidebar. If you can't drag it, then delete it, then click on "Add a gadget" in your sidebar, not your header.

Hermione has been doing this a long time and as always has been very helpful. I have the "follow by email" option at the bottom of my page. When people join/follow they also get to see your latest post on their Dashboard when they sign in. Personally, I use the Dashboard and blog-roll list on my blog to follow along.
